When Your Fave TV Show Goes Bad. WTF!

I recently moved from a big city to a really small country town in Queensland Australia and my house is about 5 minutes from a beach. Chances are, when I've written this  that that's where I am. Feet in the sand, staring at the ocean and working out whether or not I want to go in. Strange thing here is that the water is really warm - like a bath. To be honest - it can feel a bit creepy on your skin. So - I don't always go in.
I'll have food on my clothes for absolute sure and my care factor about that is a big ZERO.

I'm BECK!

hello,

Bad
Okay – I’m still stuck on Outlander being different this year – and yes, I realise it’s following the books BUT….. I tend to get obsessed with things, so you’re going to have to bear with me.  🙂
This phenomenon of good TV shows going bad is something I’ve noticed a bit, and I’ve tried to work out why it happens. So – for the sake of this chat, feel free to insert the name of any TV show you loved that lost the plot.
It seems like around the 4th episode, some arty-farty type comes in with all-new (weird) camera techniques, strange sequences and/or story lines that are so unbelievable that you cringe.
X-Files went bad.  Breaking Bad was going bad (oh the irony), hmmm…there are others. Glee…….13 Reasons….Downtown Abbey lost me…The Walking Dead…Heroes…Westworld…Weeds…Lost…Desperate Housewives…Happy Days went weirdass.  I could continue, but that would only show how much I love my TV shows. True Detective, Californication, Scrubs. I can’t shut up.
I like to solve a mystery, and I have a theory.
I think that as time goes on, a simple formula gets messed up by too many other people sticking their two bits’ worth in.
More cast.  More money.  Huge expectations.  It just gets complicated, and they completely lose sight of where it all started.
Are you feeling me?  Because – my not so subtle switch into how TV is like your relationship is about to happen.
It starts off being a relationship just between the two of you.
You add families and friends.  A house.  Financial Obligations.  Kids.  Jobs.  Maybe therapists.  Your expectations grow and grow.  Until one day you’ve completely lost sight of the relationship you used to have.
You lose yourselves.
You forget where you were heading.
You forget that this is a marriage of just 2 people who at one point loved each other enough to maybe fork out a whole lot of money for a wedding 🙂 🙂
I love nothing more than to untangle a mystery and find the simplest and most efficient way for something to work.  I was a computer engineer for a while, and I love to hunt down a bug and find a way to write a program with the least lines of code.
Do you know the best way to find an error in anything – get a fresh pair of experienced eyes to look at it.
I spend a lot of my time getting all the extra stuff that finds its way into your relationships out of the way.
One of the first things I get rid of is other people’s opinions.
Having said that: If you’ve been struggling with your expectations in your relationships. Your own or maybe others.

If you’ve tried many things to help your relationships that simply haven’t worked…I can help.

But most importantly, if you’ve been feeling the pull to have me by your side as your mentor, and you’re ready for deep support as you find your answer to “should I stay or should I go”…click below to book your first session.

We’ll use an intuitive and solution-based method to get you sorted.

I can’t wait to be your wingman.
